Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle

I was at Chinatown Complex Market for lunch today. I've always wanted to try out this stall called Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle but there is always a long queue most of the times. I decided to join in the queue today and waited for a good 30 minutes before it was my turn. I ordered a plate of Soya Sauce Chicken Noodle for S$2.50. The soya sauce chicken is very tasty and fragrant, the chicken is also tender and goes well with the noodle. The chilli sauce is tasty and complements the noodle very well. The long wait is well worth the effort. You can give it a try but I you must prepare to wait.

Teochew Street Mushroom Meat Noodle

I was at Chinatown Smith Street Food Centre for lunch today. When I was at this stall called Teochew Street Mushroom Meat Noodle, I noticed that the queue was not too long today and therefore I decided to order a bowl of Minced Pork Kway Teow for S$3.00. There is usually a long queue with an average waiting time of about 30 minutes. The Kway Teow is smooth and silky with the rich flavour of the lard, vinegar and chilli sauce. The ingredients are fresh and consists of sliced pork, minced pork, fishcake, fishball, meatball and crispy flat fish. The crispy flat fish is fragrant and makes the the kway teow more tasty. The soup is rich and filled with the goodness of the minced meat, crispy flat fish and fishball. If you are around the area, you must check out this stall.
